These are great little luminaries that project spooky light patterns on nearby walls while the candle is burning.
Items you will need: Purple and orange frosted tumblers Container candle wax Pre-tabbed wicks Scent Spooky decals Melting pot and thermometer Glue gun Shallow dish of water Rubber brayer Paper towels
Step 1 Select the proper size deal and cut to the size of your tumbler. Soak the decal in a bowl of room temperature water. When the decal is completely loose from backing paper, (slide back & forth just to be sure), remove the decal from the water keeping both pieces together.
Step 2 Position the decal on the tumbler and use your fingers and thumb to hold the decal in place while you slide the sheet of backing paper out from the bottom. Using a damp paper towel, firmly but gently rub over the entire surface of the decal to release any bubbles or creases being careful not to tear it. Then gently rub dry with a paper towel and go over the entire surface with a rubber brayer. It will take about 12 hours for the decal to adhere completely to the glass.
Step 3 Heat and melt your wax until it reaches a temperature of 180 degrees. Add your scent at the rate of 1 ounce per pound of wax. Stir well.
Step 4 Attach your wick tab to the bottom center of the tumbler with hot glue, glue dot or wick stick-em tape. Pour the wax into the tumbler slowly but smoothly and center your wick.
Allow the candle to cool completely before lighting or packaging. It will take about 12 hours for the decal to adhere and candle wax to cool.
