Materials Needed: Marguerita glass Wick Medium gel (one (1) pound) Glue gun and Elmer’s Glue Lime embed Lime dye Green paint (optional) Salt wax crystals (or granulated wax) Glass straw (optional) Mixer and bowl Thermometer
Procedure: 1. Put crystal salt wax in a bowl. 2. Tightly coat rim of glass with Elmer’s Glue. 3. Turn glass upside down and dip in crystal wax. Shake off excess wax. 4. Put a dab of glue using glue gun on wick tab and put wick in center of glass. 5. Take lime embed and paint rim of lime. Let dry. 6. Heat medium gel to 210° / 220°. Then add one (1) oz. lime scent and appropriate amount of lime dye. 7. Pour gel in bowl and start beating. 8. Pour beaten gel in glass, keeping pouring area nearer to the wick. 9. When wax is beginning to cool, insert straw and lime slices.
STRAWBERRY DAQUARI: 1. Same procedure as above except use strawberry scent, red dye, and strawberry embeds. 2. Melt gel wax. Pour in a bowl and when it cools, beat it and spoon it around the wick. Add a strawberry that has been dipped in the strawberry gel.
PINA COLADA: 1. Melt equal amounts of gel and container wax. 2. Add one (1) oz. Pina Colada scent to melted wax and white dye. 3. Cool and pour. 4. Decorate with a cherry and a slice of pineapple.
Materials Needed: Glass Red dye Harvest scent Wick Glue gun Heat gun Scissors Heavy gel Pan to pour gel in for ice cubes Medium gel for drink - equal parts Container wax - equal parts Celery embed Thermometer
1. Melt heavy gel and pour into a pan. 2. Cut into 1” cubes when cool. 3. Use heat gun to warm cubes and give polish to the “ice cube” look. 4. Melt medium gel and container wax using equal amounts. 5. Add one (1) oz. Harvest scent to one (1) pound of mixture. 6. Add appropriate amount of red dye. 7. Prepare glass. 8. Put glue on bottom of wick tab and place in center of glass. 9. Add ice cubes. 10. Pour mixture into glass ¾ full. 11. Add celery embed and a few more ice cubes.
